On Friday, Feb. 7, former Penney High School standout Julia Kanoy’s current college team, the Missouri S&T Miners, lost 10-5 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Pittsburg State Gorillas.

The game took place at Tom Heath Field at Lawson Plaza. This was their first matchup against the Gorillas this season.

The Miners’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 7 at 3 p.m. at Tom Heath Field at Lawson Plaza against Oklahoma Christian Lady Eagles.
