Ray County recorded an unemployment rate of 2.5% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 291 people out of the 23,080 living in Ray County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Ray County has decreased compared to the 3.4% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Ray County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 4.5%.

Of the 11,225 people who had a job during that time, 7 were employed in the Armed Forces and 11,218 belonged to the civilian labor force.
