Fifty-four Lafayette County C-1 Middle and High School Student Council members attended the Missouri Association of Student Councils -Trails West District meeting hosted by Fort Osage High School, the president school. Both councils held offices at this event. The high school held the office of Trails West Secretary and the middle school held the office of Trails West 2nd Vice President.
LCC-1 council members presented five workshops to over 650 middle and high school students in attendance. The featured speaker for the event was Bill Cordes. His dynamic presentation focused on empowering students to create a better school culture through positive personal and peer interactions.
