OCTOBER 22nd: For the CCW class, you will need to provide your own handgun (no rifles or long guns), 50 rounds of ammunition, and your identification. If you do not have a handgun, a .22 caliber weapon can be borrowed from the Sheriff’s Office. DO NOT BRING YOUR FIREARM IN TO THE SHERIFF’S OFFICE. Eye and hearing protection will be provided. The course of fire will be 25 practice rounds and 25 rounds of qualification rounds at 21 feet (7 Yards). Any questions, feel free to contact firearms instructor Jim Murray at (816)210-8563.
