On Friday, Feb. 28, former Penney High School standout Julia Kanoy’s current college team, the Missouri S&T Miners, lost 1-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Missouri Southern State Lions.
The game took place at Branson RecPlex. This was their first matchup against the Lions this season.
The Miners’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 3 p.m. at Branson RecPlex against Winona State Warriors.
